Popečen kruh s sirom / Grilled cheese sandwich

Današnja objava bo kratka, preprosta, ampak obljubim, da njamiiii! V zadnjem tednu se intenzivno pripravljam na zaključek študija (tisti, ki naju spremljate na Instagramu ste na najinem storyu lahko videli, da mi je glavno vprašanje, zakaj se diploma ne more napisati kar sama :D) in po končani službi me doma čaka še zvesti računalnik in delo pozno v noč. Po glavi pa se mi mota samo ena misel, in to je: "Kje imamo mi kej sladkarij ali pa druge junk hrane?" Včeraj sem se po petih minutah pisanja odločila, da rabim premor in nekaj sladkega ali pa slanega in sem na svojo žalost oziroma grozo ugotovila, da se v predalu s prigrizki nahajajo samo eni žalostni bebe piškoti in na pol prazen paketek koruze za pripravo kokic. Uf, ne hvala. Grem do hladilnika, če se je slučajno notri skrila kakšna čokolada. Nope, nobene sreče. 
Zaprem hladilnik in na pultu vidim, da je ati prinesel svež bel kruh. V tistem trenutku sem se spomnila na film Chef in vedela sem kaj bom jedla. Iz hladilnika sem vzela še sir in maslo ter se lotila priprave.
Today's post is going to be short, simple, but really tasty, I promise! In the past week I've been working really hard on finishing my studies (those of you that follow our Instagram story, will know that all I'm constantly asking myself is why my thesis can't write istself :D) and after work, I come home and sit behind my computer to morning hours. In that time there is only one thing on my mind: "I need someting sweet, salty or savory and I need it now!" Yesterday, after only five minutes into my writing process, I decided its time for a break and something sweet or savory. Unfortunately I realized, with great horror if I may say so, that all that we have in our snack drawer is a pack of sad looking bebe cookies and a half empty pack of popcorn. Urgh, no thank you. The next logical step is to move to the fridge and check in there's any chocolate hidding in there. Nope, no luck.
I close the fridge and on the counter I see a bag, which means dad must have brought home a loaf of fresh white bread. And in that exact moment I remembered the film Chef and I knew what I was going to eat. I took some cheese and butter from the fridge and started with the prepreations.

Vidiš maslo na vrhu? To je to. :D / You see the butter on top? Thats what makes it delicious. :D
V omenjenem filmu glavni igralec, ki igra kuharja (iz naslova filma bi to težko ugotovili, kajne? :P) pripravi opečen kruh s sirom oziorma grilled cheese sandwich (to je najboljši del filma, prisežem!). In ne, to ni toast. To, kar sem pripravila, sta dva debelejša kosa belega kruha (absolutni zmagovalec je domač kruh ali pa zelo dobra bela štruca iz pekarne), bogato namazana z mehkim maslom in obložena z dobro mero sira - gavda, edamec, mocarela, ni važno, izberi tistega, ki ti je všeč (moje skromno mnenje je, da brez mocarele pač ne gre, vendar je sama danes nisem imela -.-). 
Sledi intenzivnih pet minut, da dobro segreješ še ponev in nanjo položiš svoj kruh s sirom - pri tem glej, da bosta obe strani z maslom na zunanji strani, saj je to ključen dejavnik, da se tvoj kruh lepo zapeče.
Na vsaki strani pečeš po dve minuti in potem je vse, kar ti je ostalo to, da se usedeš in uživaš v noro dobrem opečenem kruhu s sirom. 
Seveda lahko poleg sira dodaš tudi razne začimbe, popečene paradižnike, baziliko itd. vendar klasika je le klasika. ;)
Sledi serija fotk, ki bi morale poskrbeti, da se ti malo pocedijo sline in če se to zgodi, potem je bil moj namen dosežen. :D
In the before mentioned film, the main actor, who is a chef (I bet you couldn't guess that from the title of the movie, right? :P) makes the bomb grilled cheese sandwich (this is my all time favourite scene from the movie, I swear!). And no, this is not toast. What I will be making and what the chef in the movie made are two thicker slices of white bread (the absolute winner is homemade bread or really quality bread from the bakery), accompanied with a generous amount of soft butter and cheese. It doesn't matter which cheese you use, pick one that you like (my humble opinion is that you cannot go wrong with mocarela). Next up, you need to preheat your pan and then put your cheese sandwich on it, make sure that the buttered side is on the pan, because that's the main secret to crispy bread. 
You bake the bread for two minutes on each side and then all thats left to do is to sit down and eat a really, really, reallly delicious grilled cheese sandwich.
Of course you can also add spices, vegggies and other goodies to the sandwich, but you can not go wrong with the classic components. ;)
In the rest of the post, you will be able to see a few photos, which should make your mouth water and if that happens, then my plan has worked. :D
